First step: Download the program Hotline Client 1.8.5. from here. Hotline is freeware. The file size is 5,46 MB. If you have problems downloading it go to the page of Tucows where also you can find a version for Mac. This is an older version of Hotline without popup functions.

Second step: Decompress the ZIP file, and then install it.

Third step: To start the program click on the big red H.

Fourth step: Setting the preferences in Hotline.

The first time when the program runs will appear a message of welcome: Welcome to Hotline! Click on the Next button. In the following window a message will appear which says: Enter the name you want to use on Hotline. Choose a name of identification and paste it into the dialog window. Then click on the Next button to go to the following step: Click an icon to select it. Select the icon of your preference and then click on Next. The following window will say that you are ready to login. As it is the first time it will connect to the main server of Hotline (your computer must be connected to the Internet).

Another way to set preferences in Hotline is to click on the button Options to open the window of options.

Fifth step: Connect to the office of Gurumaharaj. Click on the Servers button. Doing this a new window must open. In the new Servers window click on to Connect to server button . Now you must see the following window:

Write in the Server number: 195.56.44.251

Login and password is the word: todos

Sixth step: Now already it should connect to the server. Wait for a while as sometimes connecting is delayed.

Join to the chat: Click on the Users button to open a window that shows a list of users already connected. You must appear there also. Then click on the Chat button to open the window of Public chat (if it is not already open). From that window you can begin to chat.

1. If you come after the start of the conference with Guru Maharaj, please offer your reverences and greetings in the end of the chat.
2. Avoid personal greetings or conversations with other devotees on the chat during the conference with Guru Maharaj, and it is recommended to do it through private messages, not in the main chat.
3. Beside your name, always include the yatra where you belong and the number of participants.
4. It is not correct to be present on the chat with Guru Maharah without name or with pseudonyms.
5. Do not send more than one message to Guru Maharaj and wait for reply before sending the next message.
6. Do not ask for private chat with Guru Maharaj if Gurumaharaj hasn't asked for it.
7. Arrive punctually to the chat. The official hour of the start of the chat is at 11 AM, GMT (12.00 Berlin, Stockholm).
8. Do not leave the chat without saying goodbye, better ask permission to leave and the goodbye should be short.
